There is no charge for an initial confidential telephone consultation.

The total cost of Care Management services will depend on the frequency and intensity of intervention that is requested by the client.  (In some cases the care recipient will chose to implement only part of the plan or has family members that will implement the plan.)  This is a private pay service.  Care Management fees are generally not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or most health insurance policies. Occasionally fees are covered under Long Term Care Insurance Policies. 

Geriatric Care Managers save money and reduce family burden by coordinating appropriate care and resources and avoiding unnecessary expenditures.  One of our many goals is avoidance of crisis, unnecessary hospitalizations and inappropriate placements.  Care Managers can also reduce costs by negotiating discounts for medical services and supplies.
